Appearance is a clear, burgundy color (very pretty) with a thin white head that dissipates quickly and leaves little in the way of lacing. Subsequent pour shows some yeast cloudiness.
Aromas are strong and very wine-like, of the red grape variety, plus cherries. Smells suggest a dry and sour beer, with woody and tannin characteristics.
The taste is a shock in a sense, due to the sharp sourness, more so than Temptation I had earlier tonight. Sour fruit (cherries), plus wood/oak notes and funk. The dark grapes lend an acidic quality as well.
Mouthfeel has a very high carbonation level on a medium body. The beer finishes super dry and sour, with some red wine acidity as well.
Overall, this wild ale has some similarities to the Temptation, but is more sour and has flavors of red grapes/wine vs. the white. The aromas and taste are stronger/bolder and more sour here. An Outstanding beer

My thanks to my good friend JohnParadee for this delicious beer.
Bottled on 10/21/2013. Enjoyed on 3/5/2014.
Poured from the bottle into two Prohibition Pig snifters.
Pours a nice hazy medium red with minimal head that quickly dissipates.
Smell is of brett, some good funk, hayfield and cherries. Some wine notes as well.
Taste is delicious and showcase the tart brett, the cherries and the Pinot from the barrels. It's complex, and wonderful.
Mouthfeel is dry and tart. It's perfect for the brett.
Overall, I loved the beer. I have just recently had another cherry brett, The Alchemist's Petit Mutant. I felt the cherries were more prominent in the Petit Mutant, but Supplication had the Pinot Noir notes.
This is a world class beer.
