Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Bottled on 12/11/09. Uh oh, its not terribly fresh. This could end badly.
A- pours a nice shade of gold with a 2 finger white head. Very nice lacing.
S- sweet tropical fruit hops...slight citrus in there. A little lingering pine. Awesome
T- mild, probably due to the age...tropical fruits and pine. Pretty solid, a little underwhelming...again. The age.
M- good feel, actually kinda thin which I like in a standard IPA.
D- real drinkable. Great IPA, I can only imagine how good it is fresh

on tap at Interurban, Portland
Mad off-white lace over pale amber.
Mint leaf and lemon zest on the nose.
Light caramel and toast, some orchard fruits (yellow plum, peach) then light pine, citrus, and resin in perfect ratio.
Tangerine skin end and children’s aspirin linger.
Light to slightly medium, oily, a bit of chew.
Balanced like a katana. So light, crisp, round and just the right amount of hoppy. Deserves its legendary status.
