Pours a mostly translucent golden approaching copper. White bubbly head that collects unevenly. Lace coats the glass, almost like a film.
Beautiful aroma! Flowers, pineapple, grapefruit, some pine. A very light, sweet, tart, and sharp scent. Something about this aroma is different. Pure hop.
Taste follows the aroma but is more bitter, and piney on the back. But mainly a big floral hop taste followed by pineapple juiciness and a piney, bitter dryness. Some butter and white bread malt but it's far behind the hops that dominate this beer through and through.
Dry and sticky aftertaste that makes me want more.
Great, immense hop flavor without getting very big as a beer. It's not so much a truck load of hops as it is enhancing and isolating the hop flavors.
