Thanks go out to jmgrub for this hook-up!
Mmmm...This looks very inviting. It's a nice lighter shade of amber in color. It has an almost orange tint to it. It has two-fingers of dense, bone-white colored, foam on top. The retention is very good and the lacing is nicely clumpy, but not very sticky.
Oh, yeah. Tropical and citrus hops dominate this one. Peach, apricots, grapefruit, white grapes, pineapple, tangerines, mangoes....it just goes on and on. Lighter hints of grapefruit rind and sappy pine needles. There is a nice touch of almost caramel sweetness, from the malts, providing a beautiful touch of balance.
This nose is phenomenal!
This really follows the nose very well. The fruits are not quite so distinct as they were, in the nose. They are all still here, though. They are just kind of melded together somewhat. The caramel sweetness is still very light...just enough to provide balance. The finish is dry and has a good kiss of hop bitterness.
This is medium-bodied with medium carbonation, which suits it well. It is very smooth and lightly creamy with a crisp finish.
The just over 6.00%abv is nowhere to be found inside of this glass. Combine that with the beautifully hop fruitiness and you've got a beer that I could drink all night long.
