Pours quite clear orange in colour. A stead pour forms a two finger, off-white head. Little bit of sediment in the bottom of the bottle, doesn't seem to effect the clarity of the beer though. Lacing in abundance.
Definitely citric to the nose. Sweetness jumps out first, like a mandarin orange, then grapefruit rind. Way down in there somewhere is a hint of bready malt.
Hops all the way. A reasonable citric sweetness up front followed by a long (and sometimes a little coarse) ride of citric bitterness.
I find this one to be a little on the thin side. Carbonation is ample but the body lacks a little texture.
Good beer, but not quite to the level I hope to find in a Russian River bottle.
