Poured into a pint. Bottled on 9/15/09, so not super fresh.
Pours a clear lemon with a light honey tint. Thick meringue head and beautiful lace. Slightly sweet aroma with heavy citrus and some tropical hints. Nothing but hops in the taste. There must be some backbone there, since it's much more enjoyable than hop water... but I can't pick it out. A long lasting clean bitterness in the finish.
Light in the mouth and a nice dry finish. Resiny sort of feel. Keeps you sipping.
Not a super-complex-keeps-you-thinking beer. But an incredibly nice drinking IPA.

Poured a clear yellow. The head had great retention and left a decent lacing.
Aroma was very floral and a slight note of orange peel and grains of paradise.
Mouth feel was a little thin but the flavor is very bold. The flavor was piney, grassy with hints of black pepper and straw or hay.
This beer finishes very long and leaves a resin feel on the tongue, with notes of orange pith and kiwi rind.
