Poured into a tall tulip, this is one of the paler IPAs you'll see. Huge head that rose above the lip of the glass and hung on for dear life for the next half hour.
Hop flavor is across the board, mostly astringent and piney. West Coast to be sure, there is no sweetness or maltiness. This is just a hoppy beer.
Worth the hype, RR doesn't disappoint often.

Poured a clear yellow. The head had great retention and left a decent lacing.
Aroma was very floral and a slight note of orange peel and grains of paradise.
Mouth feel was a little thin but the flavor is very bold. The flavor was piney, grassy with hints of black pepper and straw or hay.
This beer finishes very long and leaves a resin feel on the tongue, with notes of orange pith and kiwi rind.
