I'm not a hophead by any means, but this beer is hop heaven.
2 finger, eggshell white, soapy head on a bright, golden body.
Super resinous, pine, grapefruit, a bit of earth. Smells amazing.
A minuscule amount of grapefruit and pine, and a powerful, tastebud-wrecking shot of hoppy bitterness. Not balanced in any way, shape, or form in a good way.
Clean, dry, astringent.
Judging this beer simply as it's trying to be, it's perfect. It is the quintessential West Coast, American IPA. Drinkability is great. Highly recommended.

on tap at Interurban, Portland
Mad off-white lace over pale amber.
Mint leaf and lemon zest on the nose.
Light caramel and toast, some orchard fruits (yellow plum, peach) then light pine, citrus, and resin in perfect ratio.
Tangerine skin end and children’s aspirin linger.
Light to slightly medium, oily, a bit of chew.
Balanced like a katana. So light, crisp, round and just the right amount of hoppy. Deserves its legendary status.
