On tap served in a pint glass

A - Clear golden amber with 1 finger white head with good retention and good lacing.

S - Citrus and floral hops, fantastic bouquet. A bit of malt bread.

T - Very rich hop bouquet full of citrus notes of grapefruit, orange and pine hops with a nice balance bitter dry finish. Masterful hops-works.

M - Medium body, moderate carbonation.

O - This could be the best IPA at a lot of breweries and Russian River has 3 or 4 that I think are better. You have got to be kidding me. This is a solid IPA.

Had on tap. Color was golden color with a clean look. Smell is a bit hoppy but not overwhelming. Taste is very good with just the right amount of hops. Not too much hops but just the right amount...very good ipa. Not complaints, but not same tier has Elder...

Hazy gold, with a one inch head of dense white foam. Retention is moderate and clingy lacework throughout. Aromatics are pungent and floral. Tangerines, pine sap, grapefruit, apricots, melons, and light, fresh malt. Tropical fruits in a Northern forest. Medium bodied, with a crisp, dry mouthfeel.

A: Poured into my pint glass, this brew pours a lighter, golden wheat, hue with a white capped fluffy head. This brew would be bumped to a 4.5 if the head was more sturdy and it left some better lacing, but none the less, this brew looks tasty.

S: The aroma is that of fresh hop citrus with a sturdy hint of the pale malts holding this brew up.

T: The flavor is awesome. All the good qualities of a great Cali IPA without the extreme hop bite. Refreshing and flavorful notes of citrus peach like qualities. Tons of pale malts give this brew almost a bready like quality to it.

MF: Carbonation is excellent, body is a little thin.

Overall, I had this brew on tap and was more impressed than the bottle. An awesome brew, and one I would drink often!

A: Medium gold color, with a thin white head. The beer is slightly hazy and has spotted carbonation.

S: It has a pretty good scent to it. I get a dank kind of earthy scent to it. I pick up a lot of Simcoe smell.

T: A piny hop character, very light on hop flavor and bitterness. Subtle grain character. Slightly vegetal.

M: It has a pleasant mouthfeel, which is an evenly dispersed bitterness across the palate. It has a nice dry finish.

O: Overall it's good. I would drink it again, but it didn't stand out in any particular way.
