A - pours a very clear yellow/marigold color. Not much head, just a fingers worth of quickly dissipating white foam. Some spotty lacing.

S - the aroma is bursting out of the glass. Lots of fruit notes mostly stone and tropical fruits. Bitter orange peel, nectarines, and pineapple being the most apparent. A bright floral essance intertwines with the fruit notes. Underneath is a soft doughy, bread crust malt profile.

T - fairly dry throughout. Some slight doughy malt sweetness up front. The tropical fruit notes brighten up the beer as it warms on the tongue which reveals its snappy citric bite. Long finish leaves the floral and citrus notes hanging on the tongue.

M - medium bodied. Light to medium carbonation. Crisp texture.

O - an outstanding IPA. Plenty of bitterness with bright fruit character for exceptional balance.

Reviewed from notes. Bottled on 6.7.10 and reviewed on 7.19.10

Pours a pretty golden color with a nice thick head. It has great retention and some pretty solid lacing.

Nose is full of a big grapefruit aroma with a bit of piney and earthiness in there too. Real nice.

Taste is full of citrus, grapefruit, and tropical fruit. There's a bitterness that hits you mid-palate and lingers on the finish. Big flavor for an IPA. Full bodied.

I love this beer. I've had it on tap at RR and it was even more amazing. One of the best IPA's out there period. Highly recommended!
