On tap at the source.
A light straw yellow, this batch that's 4.8% has a massive, dense, white head with excellent retention and lacing. The nose is spicy, earthy, bubblegummy, honey, straw and pepper with clove. Pronounced earthy hop character with some lemon as well. Surprisingly, there's a touch of soapiness as well. Solid. The palate opens mildly bitter, mildly soapy and mildly bitter with a blend of spice, straw like malt and earth. Drying on the finish withhoney and lemon, this is solid.

A: Pours a light golden with a foamy white head.
S: Funky Belgian yeast, cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg in the nose.
T: Sweet and sour like a oud bruin, with some funky Belgian yeast, fruity Belgian yeast esters, lemon, cardamom and nutmeg.
M: Medium bodied, typical saison carbonation.
O: Pretty good. Not one of their best Belgian-style ales, but definitely worth a try if you can find it (I'm assuming tap-only).

On tap at O'Brien's Pub in San Diego, CA.
Pours a clear yellow-orange with a foamy off-white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, spices, and yeast. Taste is much the same with a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.
