Lucky enough to have this one on tap at Brouwers the day of the Bottleworks X release
Since this was my first ever wild ale i guess it was a good place to start
A slightly hazy golden orange color with about a pretty big white head that left a little bit of lacing as it slowly receeded
the smell is sour. loads of citrus, (lemons and oranges) with a bit of funk hiding in the background
Taste is pretty good a little acidy with sweet citrus and a nice sour bite at the same time. the funk comes back on the tongue and finished off a little dry
Mouth is medium and carbonation is medium and pretty well balanced. I'm not a fan of the dryness but overall it feels good on the tongue
I'm really glad that i jumpped into this style with one of the top beers available. this was pretty easy to drink and i look forward to having this again one day.
Serving type: on-tap
