Look is solid. large head that passes quickly, leaves a solid clear body that is amber. is the color of rich mahogony wood, deep and sophisticated.
Funky bretty smell, of dark fruits, from the currants i would assume, but they really do come through. woody and winey, bit of vinegar.
Starts off with a bit of sweetness and tart that mix around and then fade into a big sour dry aftertaste. leather and wood, grapefruit on the finish, green apples, dark fruit.
great high carb mouthfeel, and i could drink this all the time until the 10% gets me, which is the only thing keeping it from being a higher score there. lovely beer.
