Bottled on 7/18/13. Poured into Hill Farmstead tulip.
Appearance- is dark ruby to mahogany hue. Minimal head. Good lacing.
Smell- dark fruits, red wine, ripe berries and oak.
Taste- dark fruit, currants, red wine tannins, some tartness, some oak character.
Mouth feel is medium to light, dry finish like a wine. Moderate carbonation and excellent balance.
Overall spectacular wild ale; favorite to date. Russian River always has a flavor profile that is complex!
