Batch 7 bottle, corked and caged, poured into a snifter.
A- Pours a clear dark reddish color. About a finger's worth of white head forms but quickly disappears. Foam lingers along the rim of the glass. It appears very carbonated and bubbly, there is a bubble volcano type thing going on in the top center of the glass.
S- Smells like wine basically, with the smell of alcohol. I smell hints of grapes and berries too.
T- Tastes of unripened grapes and cherries. The sour taste comes toward the end, which is very refreshing and not overpowering.
M- Light and carbonated, nice aftertaste. Very easy drinking.
This is a style I'm just getting into. This is a great example of an American wild/ sour. The way I can describe it is it's like drinking a glass half full of wine and half beer. A very interesting beer.
