A- This beer pours a beautiful rose in color with a 2 finger, foamy head. The retention of the head is very good, and lacing is also very good. The body of the beer is is fairly clear with constant rising carbonation. The color is on the deeper side of the rose spectrum with almost an orange tint.

S- Tart base beer and raspberries hit your nose first in a juicy and fruit bouquet. The raspberries pick up their prominence in the middle of the drink and turn a little toward the sweet side. Overall, the tart scent of the beer is slightly acidic in quality.

T- This one starts off with a juicy and slightly tart raspberry bang before the sour base beer kicks in. After the initial somewhat fruity flavor, the tartness from the base beer turns the flavor profile towards moderately sour. The sourness is a little acidic, but fairly balanced by the little bit of raspberry juiciness that remains. The flavor turns dry towards the end and a little bit of sour flavor is left lingering on the tongue.

M- This beer feels just like a sour should, with a light body and a fairly high level of carbonation. The flavor profile and tartness makes this one more of a sipper, but it does drink very easily.

Overall, this is a very well done fruited sour. The balance between the fruit flavor and the sourness is almost perfect, with neither flavor ever taking over the other. It's been a while since I've had a Russian River sour, and I really miss them now.
