Had never had this beer before, so was excited to see it on tap at Beachwood Long Beach.
Appearance: Pours out a clear, warm honey color. About 1/2" of white head to start, which has decent retention and lacing. Very nice color on this.
Smell: Caramel malts and aromatic hops. Citrus, a bit of mango, as well as some pine and a touch of dankness. Very well balanced it seems, not overly malty or hoppy.
Taste: Nice caramel malt backbone up front, with citrus, orange rind, mango, and pine. Overall I would call the hop flavors balanced and rather subtle. Nothing overly hoppy or bitter which is a nice change of pace.
Mouthfeel/Overall: Light/medium body with low-ish carbonation. Mouthfeel seems about right, maybe could use a little more carbonation for me. Drinks about to its ABV. Overall, a really nice pale ale that I would have again. Good one.

On tap at the brewery. Really enjoyed the sample I had last night so coming back to a full pint
A-served with a thin layer of sticky white foam this beer is clear and a deep copper color.
S-aromas of bright citrus (grapefruit) and tropical (papaya) shine thru in this. A clean malt character is also present
T-the hops are upfront and brilliant but the malt is so well balanced in this beer
M-finishes smooth with plenty of co2 to carry the flavorful sim is hops
O-a flavorful yet easy to drink brew that is really well done.

Clear, bright, golden orange with a moderately sized near-white head that lasts for a while. This leaves the glass messy with spiderwebs of lace. Perfect.
An incredibly clean, vibrant, wonderful aroma of decidedly fresh hops: floral, citrus, and pine character combine tremendously well. This aroma is nearly as good as Zombie Dust's.
Moderately bitter, floral and citrus hops, slight pine, balanced and completed nicely by enough bready malts to make this incredibly drinkable and distinctly a pale ale.
Medium bodied with high carbonation. Crisp, refreshing, delicious, and incredibly drinkable.
Simply awesome, though I do believe Humulus Wet, Zombie Dust, and Hoppy Birthday are just slightly better.
