A corked and caged 375 mL bottle from leschkie; thank you! Split into four snifters to share with friends; review from notes taken 09/30/2011.
Body is a translucent yellow, though an ever present stream of bubbles obscures some light. About a centimeter of bubbly white head forms. The aroma is of tart fruits (peach, apple, pear, grape), slight funk, and some crisp, floral scents. It tastes of grape, tart apple, peach, and pear, various other fruits, straw, grain, faint yeast, a hint of oak, and white wine. Mouthfeel is crisp, smooth, clean, and finishes a touch dry. Overall, a great sour that is easy drinking; I could happily have one daily.
