Poured into a tulip glass. The liquid is a nice hazy straw / orange color with a couple little floaties in there, and a few streams of bubbles rising to the top. The modest off-white head is about one finger thick and fades quickly but leaves some nice lace.

Aroma is resiny, dank hops along with green tea. Nice, crisp, and grassy.

Flavor follows the nose - resiny hops and some green tea and grass. Swallow is a bit spicy like peppercorns, reminding me of a white IPA. There's a little bit of bitterness on the finish, and then the aftertaste is all green tea and grass. I think this could have been better with less resiny hops, but really nice overall.

Mouthfeel is moderately thick, with only a moderate amount of carbonation. I feel like a bit more carbonation would have improved it.

Overall, a solid beer from a solid brewery - interesting flavors, and it's well put-together.

Pours into an imperial nonic a dull slight hazed orange infused golden with a half finger sticky white head atop.Light citrus and leafy hops in the nose along with sugary sweetness.Citrusy hops really hit upfront on the palate with some herbal/leafiness as well, moderately sweet in the finish, there is something that lingers in the aftertaste that takes the flavor score down a notch, the yuzu tea is just a little different. Not a bad beer but not something I would really seek out to buy again.

Shared 22oz bottle.
Standard looking.
Very nice aroma with high complexity for style. The flavor is a bit of a mess. Mild bitterness for style.

I very much enjoyed this. For an ipa it was what I expected. Have been drinking a lot of lambiac lately so this was a nice change

Appearance: mostly clear yellow. Thin whitish head. A bit drab.
Smell: I guess that's the Yuzu tea hinted at. Never at Yuzu tea but there's a "tea-ish" hint in the nose. Pretty oh hum other than that.
Taste: very dry and bitter, a hint of tea.
Overall: not my cup of tea I guess.

22oz bottle from Sprayberry Bottle Shop (Marietta, GA). 6.99. Bottled 7/9/14. Served in a Red Brick snifter.

Pours hazy orange gold with a finger and a half pale head. The foam slowly melts away to leave a thick cap, depositing large sheets of lace.

Smells of rind, green tea, fruit, grass and a vague caramel sweetness.

Lots of green tea flavor that pretty much dominates with notes of citrus, grass, cracker, black pepper, earth, floral and faint honey. Interesting that the tea almost seems just as bitter as the hops.

Moderately oily, medium body with fairly sharp carbonation. A bitter, lingering finish of herbal tea, peels and more hints of that sweet malt.

This drinks as I imagine a hop tea would. Not my favorite but it has a different take on the style that I enjoyed for at least the one bottle.

Poured from a 22-ounce bottle.

Was really looking forward to trying this one as Hoplanta is one of my favortie local IPAs.

Matcha Super Green starts off alright but after about 5 or 6 sips the tea flavor just completely takes overthe whole operation, rendering this almost unfinishable. Great effort from red brick on trying something new, but this would be better in a small format, maybe in a flight.
