L: Poured into a 16oz glass from a 12oz bottle. Head quickly reduced to a lace around the glass. This is a very opaque beer, allowing minimal light to pass though the glass.
S: Clear notes of chai with a strong aroma of fresh cinnamon.
T: Moderate notes of chai along with the smooth flavor associated with a milk stout.
F: A very smooth drinking beer, not much in the way of carbonation in the mouth feel.
O: Overall a solid milk stout, one of the only spiced beers I have come across.
Note: Was being [possibly still is] being sold as "Sacred Cow"

Head was minimal, mouthfeel and body thin for a milk stout. The chai and spice weren't aggressive either, which was a relief since those touches could have been wildly overdone. But overall, just a bland effort, with points for innovation.

I am very curious to review & rate this one for The CANQuest (tm) since it seems like such an oddity. My thanks go out to my local, in-person trader, @tone77 for providing it to me.
From the CAN: "A milk stout brewed with tea and a blend of 5 exotic spices"; "Brewed with rishi [tea and botanicals]".
I Crack!ed open the vent & CANmenced a slow, gentle C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. I was duly heartened by a pseudo-cascade that led to the formation of two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, light-tan head with very good retention. Color was Very Dark Brown to Black/Opaque (SRM = > 34, < 44) with garnet highlights. Nose was very spicy, quite tea-like, but not like an English Sweet / Milk Stout. Mouthfeel was full, creamy & slick in the mouth & on the tongue. Taste was very spicy & tea-like, but not appropriate to/in the style. 8=( I would have liked to see this listed as an "Herb & Spice Beer" instead, but since I am forced to rate to style, it suffers. Finish was dry, as any beer that includes spices should be expected to be. I really liked it, but stylistically, it was not on. YMMV.

Dark brown color. Little bit of white on the surface around the edge of the glass, but not much of a head. Malty aroma. Fairly average stout tasting vaguely of chai spices.

Poured from the tap into a pint glass. The appearance is a dark brown with a large tan head. The aroma is roasted malt and chocolate. the taste heavy on chocolate with some pepper and spice. The beer did have an odd medicinal like after taste. Overall, a solid milk stout.
