Bomber into a big snifter...
A : A deep red-orange with slowly rising carbonation bubbles and a half inch dark tan head that dissipates to a ring of froth. Nice levels of lacing. This was my favorite part of the beer, great looks.
S : Wow, very potent sweetness. Grapefruit, even raisin. I'm not getting any of the usual pine or citrus hop over this fruity smell.
T : Ah, there are the hops. Pine mixed with the same grapefruit from the nose. Some sweet alcohol esters present, a little caramel malt. The hops are all over the place, mixing in and out with the other flavors. Bitter levels are kept to a minimum however.
M : A nice medium body, but heavier than the average I'd say. No alcohol burn.
D : A good imperial IPA, but a little over the top grapefruit for my liking.
