The nose on the beer is quite fruity with a tad bit of malt sweetness. The fruitiness comes directly from the hops. A slight spiciness is there as well; sometimes in hoppy beers, I get a green tea type flavour, which isn't my thing, and hopsickle has that nose. The colour of the beer is a nice rich copper with a incredibly fluffy white head. Decent head retention on this bad boy, but it looks quite nice.
Whoa, the flavour of this beer is incredibly different than the nose. It's rich with caramel malts with a very aggressive bitterness, which is to style. The hop flavour is that green tea type flavour (which isn't an accurate description because it's a mixture of many different types of fruits. I think it's the Anthanum hops because I love Chinook and Tomahawk hops). This beer is quite complex with all of it's flavours. This beer is slight old for a double IPA, unfortionately, but the remnants of the beer are quite good. I'm sure if I were to get a fresh pint of this at the brewery, I'd be blown away. Quite tasty, but just not enough hops for a double/imperial IPA.
Nice full bodied mouthfeel. The drinkability of this beer is alright, because there isn't any strong alcohol flavours, but it's just not a beer I'd like to have a bunch of in a night.
It's really a pity that Moylan's does not put a date on their beer, so I can't judge if this is fresh or not. I'll definitely purchase this beer again, and hope it's a bit fresher.

Poured a nice copper color. Does have a strange smell (not bad, just unusual) Heavy on the bitter side with a hint of citrus/sweetness. Hops on hops on hops but still went down incredibly smooth. Very tasty. Would definitely recommend.
Thanks for reading!
