This brew pours a beautiful deep gold with hints of orange. The aroma hits you from a distance. Yes, there are a lot of hops in there, with a bit of a spicy / peppery characteristic underneath all of that citrus and pine tar.
Unfortunately, you then have to taste the beer. If ever there was an unfortunately, majorly overhopped beer... this would have to be it. I am a lupomaniac, but even I can't tolerate these majorly muddy hop waters. The flavor is so abstract and overdone. There hops are massively overpowering, but with no specific characteristic that can be enjoyed. Just one big ball of hop mud. Very dissapointing after smelling this beauty. A decent malt backbone tries to tame this brew, but is quickly on it's way home with its tail between its legs.
Great mouthfeel... this beer has a very tight, dense carbonation which eccentuates the flavors (as unfortunate as it is).
After reading all of the resounding reviews of this beer, I am left utterly mystified. This is similar to a homebrew hopbomb (of which I am well versed through many experiments), which created no more that a muddy hop blast followed by an alcohol warmth.

Poured a nice copper color. Does have a strange smell (not bad, just unusual) Heavy on the bitter side with a hint of citrus/sweetness. Hops on hops on hops but still went down incredibly smooth. Very tasty. Would definitely recommend.
Thanks for reading!
