A: Bird of paradise orange with some chill haze to it. Quite vibrant and attractive. The head is loose but present, a sudsy white bubble ring around the glass.
S: Smells or orange marmalade, vanilla, honey & redwood bark.
T: Initial taste is grapefruit rind and really earthy hops. Not overly piney, but certainly woody and quite dirty. Really mineraly too. This beer tastes very natural, like something that might come bubbling up out of the earth in the middle of the the forest. Bitterness arrives at the back of the throat and stays with the drinker through the entire process. Finishes A lot like it started.
M: Medium to thin body with a hard mouthfeel.
D: Interesting brew but not something I would seek out. Different than most of the other IPAs out there which is cool.
