Pours golden-amber with a thick fluffy head.
Tropical fruit with a hint of lemon and a decent caramel malt base.
Taste is light fruit and malty. Sweet and lemony up front, a little grainy. Then a crisp light hop finish.
Medium to light bodied; very carbonated.
Nothing extraordinary. However, worth a try. Crisp and lemony.

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Medium golden with small, soft creamy head. Light grassy, grainy aroma. More grain in the taste, straight up bready, biscuits . It is what it is a decent golden ale, mild flavor and palate, on style. Give it a chance.

From notes taken 06/17/17:
Clear and rich yellow amber, with pillowy yellow-white head of fine and structured froth. A chunk or two of lace here and there. Smell is vegetal but in a light and not unpleasant way. Same kind of thing as in their Irish Style, but less overpowering. Yo might almost call it a type of “grassy”. Palate is all grain and dry grass, a combination of the malt bill and probably also the hops. Very strong, verging on the vegetal, but not what I would call “harsh.” Less overtly hoppy than most other Goldens/Blondes you encounter, which is a nice change since some of them might as well be Pale Ales if not IPAs. Medium in body, with tingly, medium-sized bubbles throughout, refreshing enough to handle the more robust palate.

Pours a hazy orange with a foamy orange-tan head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, and a mild grassy aroma. Taste is much the same with an earthy flavor on the finish and a noticeable alcohol flavor that stands out. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty poor beer that has a weird off flavor that makes it somewhat unpleasant to drink.

Drinkable and forgettable light beer. Faint beery smell but not much of the
hop aroma. Light golden amber in the glass with an attractive head. Sudsy in the mouth, but the body is, you guessed it, extremely light. A glimmer of malty sweetness, and the lack of hops makes it a little insipid, though clean and fairly dry.
There's really nothing wrong with this, it's just a very light Blonde. I sort of like Moylan's description of this as a "California Golden Ale," but then that would have to be a blonde anyway. From the 22 oz bottle bought at Total Wine.

Pours a clear, golden color with a medium white head that disappears quickly. Scent is sweet malt aromas with just a hint of hoppiness. Some grain and fruity aromas as well. Taste is initially sweet...reminiscent to adjunct lager flavors. Grainy and a bit grassy. Extremely low hop bitterness with sweet floral flavors. Mouthfeel is light bodied and somewhat crisp. Drinkability is fairly high. Overall, it's an American blonde. Not really expecting much. This beer is quite underwhelming, but I was expecting that. Very drinkable with not a lot of flavor. A good transition beer for BMC lovers.
