Had this beer at Fathead Brewery in North Olmsted Ohio. This is a good DIPA that with an ABV just above 8. Consumed from a 12 oz snifter there was little to no head. I would have liked to seen some lacing with the stickyness that I prefer in DIPA. Taste was very strong hop flavor and pine. This one needs something to help sweeten and balance it out. Still its a good flavor but just above average when compared to higher tier DIPAs. Mouthfeel was smooth with mild alcohol burn. Drinkability is about average but with most DIPAs it would be difficult for me to drink more than 2-3 in one sitting. Still if DIPAs are your choice of beer then give this one a shot.

A: Golden orange, translucent, with a white head.
S: Nose is full of fresh orange, citrus peel and mango, and a little tropical fruit, especially papaya.
T: Taste is similar, lots of fresh orange, some grapefruit peel, tropical fruit.
M: Full side of medium bodied and smooth for an IPA.
O: I love the name of this beer… and the nose… and the flavor… and everything else about it. It's an excellent DIPA, not overly harsh, tropically delicious. If you can find it, try it.
