Bottled sample purchased at Blue Max in Minneapolis. Clear orange in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas of tangerine, pine sap, and grapefruit. In the mouth, the citrusy-woody hops are front and centre, with a fairly dry malt backbone. Very drying and bitter, even by IIPA standards, and the bittering isn't all that smooth. I think I'd call it "leafy" bitterness. It's fairly good overall, but not quite top class.
