I discovered this beer shortly after arriving In Eugene, Or. Moylander started off with a very pronounced hop bouquet, fragrant and citrusy. When poured it was a transluscent amber/copper color with a hall inch head. The taste was distinctly grapefruity and balanced with enough maltiness to offset any excessive bitterness. The finish was dry and bitter with some chalkiness tempered with a little sweetness. Although well concealed the alcohol content was apparent. There was also some streaky lace but this last observation isn't too exacting since plastic motel cups were being employed. All in all I found this to be a refreshing and fortifying beer after a long air flight.
