From Blind Beers BIF:
Blind Beer #1 - Kilt Lifter Scotch Ale (Moylan's Brewery)
Opened this one and immediately had it pegged as a lighter barleywine. Very sweet, malty smell. Poured very thin,
without a great deal of head. More malt smell abounds. Taste was similar to the smell... predominantly malt forward with a little faded hops. Very thin bodied, which probably should have been a bigger tip off that I had guessed wrong on the style right away. Carbonation was pleasant, not overbearing. The beer stood alone well on its own, but I don't think I would classify it as refreshing.
After opening envelope #1, I was really surprised to see this sitting at 8%. Alcohol very well hidden here, a nice drinker overall.
