The selection is fantastic. You can break up any pack for singles. If you do go here you have to ask for Abdul, he is great and will show you everything.
They are pricey, but they get a lot of things that others in the area don't.
They recently remodeled the inside, but the outside might scare a few potential customers away. Don't let it because you will be missing all of the treasures inside.
This place is by far the premier store in the area and absolutely worth a visit or ten.
If Abdul isn't there, you may not get very much help.

A little bit dreary. Jam-packed with rows of beer to choose from. Who cares though? It's a beer store.
Haven't found an "expired" beer yet, although I haven't even come close to trying everything there. Haven't seen any bottles coated in dust. Pretty popular place with a frequent rotation, so the risk of a stale beer is pretty low.
The guys that work there are bored as hell. They can't seem to be bothered to even say "hi" to you. When you ask if they have a beer, they'll mumble and point in the general direction of where it is. This has been my experience; your mileage may vary. Not too important as I typically go to browse and don't want to be hounded by overzealous sales people.
At least two full, double-sided rows of American craft beer and another double-sided row of one-offs and imports (mostly Belgian).
Seems to be relatively standard. Maybe a bit on the high end but nothing ridiculous.
If you live anywhere in south-western Connecticut or lower Westchester this place is a must-try. They've got a really great and varied selection. They also regularly update their BeerMenus page (http://www.beermenus.com/places/2177-port-chester-beer-distributor), which is a huge help when trying to figure out where you're going for your next craft beer!

This is a great gem in a kind of bad spot. The location isn't dangerous it just isn't that nice and you could easily drive by it. Effectively a warehouse.
Service is ok but its hard to chat with anyone or ask about brews incoming or outgoing
Selection is awesome with quite a few hard to find brews (JP, Bruery, Crooked Stave, GI, Locals, etc....)and good lineup of imported stuff.
Crazy amount of volume and growler fills are decently priced with good stuff on tap usually
Prices are not great in my experience roughly 2-3 dollars more per bottle than other stores in CT/NY

Overall selection is fantastic, from imports to local micros, to cans, to kegs, to growlers. Actually, growlers are probably the least great, since they tend to run to the IPA/high hops side. But, there's almost always something for a non-hop-head. The variety of beers available is so good, I've had 2 different hipster doofus Brooklynites exclaim that it's the best beer store they've ever seen.
The outside's not so scary anymore- they've painted it, and have new signs. Still, easy to miss if you don't know where it is.
Prices strike me as reasonable, certainly on pa with other stores in the area. Granted, it's easy to go in and drop a couple of hundred dollars, but that just requires discipline.
One line review: Kid, meet candy shop.

My favorite beer spot. There is only one thing lacking from this location and that is a really good selection of Belgian beer, meaning lambic and de struise selections. Otherwise awesome. The customer service is top notch period. The domestic micro selection is right on. 9/10 times they get the limited releases you want. Clean, well organized, etc. Abdul, the owner, is basically the man and really is trying to make his store a top notch place. He is always happy to chat with you about what is new and good. I just hope this place doesn't get blown up, damn...I'm probably not helping my cause....

I was in south CT for two weeks on business and excited to get some regional beers that I can't get back home in FL. For a week I tried every local store in the area I was staying and was consistently disappointed by the poor selection and lack of singles. After that experience I finally broke down and drove 45 min to Port Chester Beer Distributors and it was very much worth the drive.
The store has some parking on the side (very helpful in this area) and it looks like an average package store from the outside. Inside, it is another story. They have a growler fill station and an epic selection of craft and import beer. You can break up six packs, but seemingly not can containers. I spent the better part of an hour filling up my cart and ended up buying at least twice as much beer as I should have. Pretty things, Captain Lawrence, Founders, White Birch, and lots of others that I didn't have room for. My only complaint is that I walked out with so much beer that I am going to have to make a real effort to drink enough of it in the next week so that I can fit the leftovers in my bag for the flight home. Well, that and the fact that the prices are very high, but that is kind of expected in this part of the country and for the beers that I picked up.

Found this on Beermenu's...
I know I have drivin by many times, but it does look run-down and un-inviting. There can be some strange "regular only" type places in Port Chester, so it kind of blends in. There is a small parking lot, which is nice because parking can be difficult on this street.
As soon as you walk inside its obvious this is no sketchy liquor store. A display island full of seasonal gift boxes greets you. Beyond that is about 4 grocery store sized isles of craft beer; about 2 for US Craft and 2 for imports. A whole row of stacked cases and 12 packs - some craft but most are macro, and there is an average sized cooler of some additional brews. At the end of the cooler are a few taps. It looks like they may eventually have a place to fill growlers. The rear of the store is a warehouse of beer on palates...you really dont expect the size of this place from the outside.
The guy who owns it is super nice and just pumped to talk to you about beer. He was excited and seemingly grateful for his store.
The actual selection is pretty fantastic. It seems that they stock just about every brew each brewery is offering or has offered lately. For example, I went there to buy Gnomegang because I couldnt find elseware. Maybe its not crazy rare, but they had what I wanted. I ended up buying Clown Shoes Muffin Top and Captain Lawrence Saison as well.
I really like this place and really liked the owner. There really is something great about someone taking pride in what they do. Id say, to check this place out and support him on his awesome business venture.

Trekked out to this place to get some Oak Aged Yeti and Smoke from the Oak goodies.
Per the other reviews, this place looks like the place you used to target to get beer when you were underaged. Looks like a dump.
Good thing they have a pretty good selection. Considering Westchester, their offerings are not close to Deciccos but the do have a solid isle. Nothing totally insane, but all the regulars and a few that you'd probably take a flyer on.
Probably not alot of craft guys come through here so I found a few vintage barleywines and old ales from a few years back that I picked up.
Prices are ok, I noticed that a few of their better beers are 1/2$ more than Deciccos which is kinda the standard for this area.
Overall decent selection and ok prices, but Im only coming back for rares if I find out they have some, otherwise the selection is pretty basic.
