Nothing here, quite watery. Looks like water with some carbonation and malt thrown in, taste like it too. Yet is acidic. Crisp but astringent. No hops to speak of. OK, so I tried a Korean beer. Still better than a bud. Not a prize winner in Asia. Looks like old ginger ale.

Arrived a thin golden yellow with a light carbonation. Very limited crown or lace and cling in evidence. The body is thin as well.
Aroma is to the skunk...
Taste is thin, weak and bland....but well balanced for what that's worth.
Not impressive....not recomended....geez, just thin all over.

The beer appears a crystal clear straw color in my glass. The smell and taste are both grainy. I struggle to detect any hop or malt taste. The mouthfeel is nice though, because the carbonation is crisp. This is one light beer. I liken it to a lighter version of rolling rock. It goes down easy, but with little flavor.

This lager poured a slightly hazy light gold with a thick white head that quickly disappeared. The worst part was that there were some floaties which is acceptable for home brew but not a commercial beer.

The aroma was, well, nonexistant. I guess with floaties it could have smelled bad, but it just did not smell at all.

The taste was slightly malty with a slight bit of hop bitterness.

The mouthfeel was medium and the carbonation nipped at the tongue. This is the best aspect of the beer.

Overall, I would say that this is a beer to buy for the inlaws or a friend that owes you money. It is an import with all the character of Miller Light.

12oz thick brown bottle.
It pours a clear pale gold with a fizzy white head.
A faint smell of cut grass and cardboard is all there is to it.
A very light malt flavor is reminiscent of a church communion wafer.
A equally mild hop taste gets you second-guessing whether you are tasting some bitterness or maybe it's just the seltzery effervescence playing tricks on your mind.
Really difficult to taste the malt…or hops for that matter. Very mild mannered. No objectionable flavors.

This golden lager poured a big fluffy head that dissapeared quickly. Not much notable about the smell. The taste of sweet malts with no afterbite from the hops. This is a pretty thin lager that is quenching my thirst but is less than the average beer.

This beer is a bright straw color, and is topped by a good sized white head that lasts a fair bit. The aroma has a hint of hop and malt, but really not much of anything. A light sweet taste and a light thin body. Almost offensive in its in-offensiveness. Tastes a bit grainy and the sweetish thin finish could really use some hop bitterness to balance it out.

12 oz brown bottle, capped. No freshness date.

This beer poured a clear, fizzy, yellow color with white foam that settled. The smell was sweetish lager malt with some grain husk aroma and a very faint hint of hops. The taste was slightly sweet malt with grain (a corn like taste) and very muted hops, mostly in the finish. The mouthfeel was on the thin side with moderate carbonation. Fairly clean, though not surprising with the light body and flavor. This was an OK lager, good for eating spicy food, but overall fairly average or slightly below.

Appearance: Typical of Korean lagers, a glass of OB begins life with a big fluffy head that wastes no time in pulling a vanishing act, taking all vestiges of lace with it. Light yellow.

Smell: A very faint light cereal and malt flavour.

Taste: Watery. Slightly sweet. The hops give the aftertaste a gentle bitterness. Is that lemon mingling with the hops?

Mouthfeel: Very light. Goes down easily. Perhaps too easily...

Drinkability: I like my Korean beers with things like dried squid (ojingaw) and dried anchovies (myeolchi) that are dipped in salty condiments like gochujeon (red pepper paste). Beer is almost always taken with food. Order a beer without sidedishes (anju) and you will probably get a funny look from the waitress. So, with food and good conversation, or if you are on MT or membership training (expatriates know what I am talking about), this light, watery lager will suffice.

Look, it is not a bad beer. It is Korean-style Budweiser. All in all, though, if I had to choose a Korean beer, I would go with a Hite Lager.

This beer poured out a clear and pale fizzy yellow color. The head was pretty big at first but disappeared entirely at a blink of an eye. Strong on adjuncts here - strong corn aroma and flavor. No real hop presence noted. Some sweetness with the hint of oranges. Overall a half decent beer with really no distinguishable qualities to speak of. Yawn.....

Well, not too much here. Along the lines of a Big3 Light beer. Bright yellow color, with a very carbonated feel, but realtively smooth and drinkable. Not too much in the way of original taste. Agree with other advocates, average everyday beer, nothing to write home about.

The translucent gold color on the pour is one thing I do like about lagers, with their nice bright white head and fine lace sliding down the chilled glass, quite a sight. Malt aroma dominates this beer, crisp and clean, fresh and not all that unpleasant, top is thin, the finish highly acidic, hops are apropos for the style aftertaste dry and long lasting, but just an everyday average old beer, and to tell you the truth that ain’t all bad.

330 ml thick brown bottle with no freshness date.

Appearance: After a quick foaming after a hard pour the lace drops to a thin whispy state with very little stickage and poor retention overall. Clarity is perfect with a crystal clear yellow colour.

Smell: Sweet with a semi-harsh cereal adjunct aroma, smells gritty with some cooked veggies on the side.

Taste: Weak malt profile, more of a grain bite and slightly harsh adjunct astringency. Hops have some bitterness that intensifies the harshness, no noticeable hop flavour at all. Finishes with that same astringent bite, not very clean at all.

Mouthfeel: Thin body with an easy crispness from the carbonation, spritzy in a way.

Drinkability & Note: Hard to swallow a whole bottle of this stuff without wincing, not recommended at all … the only thing I got out of this was getting to try a beer from S. Korea, there are many other Asia breweries that push out better lagers than this.

Crystal clear, very light straw gold with a big foamy white head that holds OK at first - buoyed by a good level of carbonation - but soon drops to nothing! The aroma is softly sweet malt with a light fruitiness of apples and a background hoppiness. Light bodied with a crisp carbonation and somewhat watery mouthfeel. The flavor is a very slightly fruity and grainy malt - fairly dry with some hop bitterness. Not much of a finish - crisp and clean. And, I could be wrong about this, but the alcohol seems a bit noticeable which is very odd for a beer that only clocks in at 4.5%. Of course, a high fermentation temperature might also explain the fruitiness. Regardless, a very basic lager that offers little character. Not worth bothering.

Pours a bright shiny yellow / golden color, with a white head that dies very fast. On the nose is a slight aroma of grain, the same on the palate grain, not to hoppy, slightly watery. Mouth feel is fairly smooth. Ends with a crisp clean finish. Pretty basic lager, but enjoyable none-the-less. All though I was not eating any spicy or oriental food, I am assuming this would be an OK beer to go along with that sort of dish.

A bright yellow beer w/ a big bubbled foam head and slight stick. Grainy nose, w/ a grainy flavour/feel. Slight esters. Crisp & dry. Adjuncts are evident by a cooked veggie flavour. Thin bitterness which is rindy/salty/minerally. Thin sweetness and a grain dry finish.

This beer paired very nicely with my spicy korean chicken dish at lunch. Nice palate opener and cleanser.
