Appears a orange tinted gold tone with a creamy nice sized head very nice appearance for the style and beer coming out of a can light lacing. Aromatics well slightly metallic some malt derived sweetness here nothing amazing or flavorful but solid little brew very strange never noticed or recall seeing this beer ever before. Flavor is mediocre some sweetness a touch of hops and metallic adjunct ridden tone to it, not my cup of tea. Mouthfeel is definitely lighter bodied but it does have a creamier texture going for it. Drinkability I will stick with Stoney's original more accesible and reliable to have freshness. This can says Brewed and Canned by the Jones Brewing Co. in Smithtown, PA wheter they are being contracted by Pittsburgh Brewing than that could explain the mediocrity of this beer.

Pours a robust golden color, topped by a two-finger head that shows very good retention and is rather creamy. Slight amount of haze and tiny particulate matter in the beer. Aroma of grassy hops and a slight metallic note. Just a hint of sweetness comes through from a distance, but up close it is all grassy, herbal hops. The taste is malty and sweet, with a bit of a buttery note to it. A touch of bitterness on the finish. Surprisingly enjoyable flavor. Minimal aftertaste, just a hint of grassiness. Mouthfeel is a little thin on the body, but the carbonation is relatively fine and in moderate amounts, helping the beer to slide across the tongue while still feeling refreshing. Drinakbility is surprisingly good. I'm actually pretty impressed by this rather obscure beer that used to be produced minutes from my house. The brewery has since closed and is now contract brewed at Pittsburgh Brewing. But this is a very good, cheap beer.
