Light golden color on the pour with minimal head and some lace. Smell is mild with notes of grains, malt and floral hops.
Taste is similar -- floral and spicy hops, grains, and sweet bready finish. Light body with mild carbonation. This is a solid, good pils.

Poured from can into glass. Pours a light copper. Smells of cracked grain with a bit of molasses. Hops make a big impression in the flavor, adding an earthy tone with a slight citrus note. Generous malt sweetness come through but still finishes dry. Medium body. One of my favorites and highly underrated in my opinion. Full flavored and well balanced.

Light golden color with a thin head with short retention.
Aroma with notes of grains, malt juice and mild floral hops.
Similarly, flavor with notes of floral and spicy hops, crude grains, a bit of mineral feeling and dough. Dry aftertaste with a mild to medium bitterness.
Light body with mild carbonation.
Decent Pils, but the experience could be enhanced if it had a somewhat stale carbonation. It felt tired, but it is 4 months old. Maybe this got to freeze temperature levels and than back at some point.

Kelso pilsner can about 50F poured into a glass in August, 2018. The beer had a modest head. The body was somewhat thin and sweet. The aftertaste was a reasonably good noble hop bitterness. This beer pales in comparison to Brooklyn Pilsner.

On tap at some hotel bar in Manhattan.
Pours dark for the style. The aroma is very grainy with lots of generic cereal nodes and minimal hops. The flavor is the same: a not entirely pleasant grain bill and then the faintest little bitter kiss of hops on the finish.
I don't know who this is for. Even for a beer that debuted in 2009 this is oddly out place--it tastes like a flagship offering from a second-tier midwest brewpub circa 1998 or so. It's not horrible, but it's certainly not worth your money.

This is a nice beer to drink, it has an "All-American" feel and taste. It reminds me of something mass produced, but tastes like what that would taste like, if less corners were cut, if I were younger, if it were the early 1980s. I guess it's just a good, drinkable beer, reminiscent of an era when everyday classic quality was not unusual . However, it's not priced like mass produced beer. I wish there were more easy drinking Pilsner like beers available (at my grocery), refreshing, hopefully interesting, but not offensive, etc.

From the can it pours a clear straw color with a thin head that quickly disapates. Carbonation is visible.
The aroma is fairly mild with breast Pilsner malt tones and grassy hops.
In the mouth it feels light and crisp. For a large part of the drinking session, the sweetness from the malts predominates and with a touch of grassy hops. A hint of lemon keeps things refreshing. Midway through, a spicy and peppery hops kicks in, which lingers in the finish, and adds dryness and moderate bitterness.
As the summer months arrive, I seek to sample refreshing lagers as a counterpoint to the Ales I tend to drink. This is a decent and drinkable, if not spectacular, Pilsner.
