Appears a dense fold with a fluffy white cap that slowly fades. Tons of scattered lacing is left arond the glass.
Smell is of English Ringwood yeast with the signature buttery aroma. Some notes of herbs and citrus creep to the top along with birch bark.
Taste is biscuity, fruity, with nots of caramel, citrus and herbs.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, bitter yet sweet, buttery, and semi dry.
Serving type: on-tap

Not a fan of this brewer, though as a NJ guy I want to be. Carton & Kane rule NJ.
This beer tried several times and upgraded, may be River Horse's best.
A: Cloudy almost muddy, brown amber in color with a modest 1 finger head that falls fast but leaves a spotty, again almost a mud spray lace.
Smell: Caramel and bread are topped by resiny, grassy hops. A bit of that Saranac stink.
Taste: Follows smell, almost a sticky bun kind of beer, bready caramel with grass, grapefruit, cinammon, and a lot of long bitterness. Alcohol is not so noticeable as the bitter, peppery finish.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Crisp to start, sticky late. A peppery taste as the bitterness and citrus ride the tongue for a while, but too sticky/muddy for my mouth.
Drinkability: I like it tho it's muddled, it's a big flavored beer, a slow sipper.
Serving type: bottle
