A variety of specialty malts are the backbone of this American Amber Ale; a perfect session beer.

My good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego gave me a bottle of this beer. It poured a cloudy amber with floaties and had a off white head yhat is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had very subtle malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with malt base and subtle hop finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is an ok beer.

12 oz. bottle.
L: Clear amber beer. 1F slightly off-white foamy head with OK retention, leaves a ring and partial cap.
S: Autumn leaves, malts, caramel malts.
T: Pretty much follows the nose, very malty, tastes like autumn, lots of caramel notes. Pretty neutral finish.
F: Light body, moderate carbonation. Straightforward and uncomplicated.
O: Maybe I got a good batch, but I think this deserves a bit better than it is scoring.

Fairly nice malty ale, 1/22/20 “packaged” date printed on bottle. Pours a rusty amber color with a little white head and some minimal spotty lacing that quickly faded. Smells of bready malts, caramel, cracker, grain and toffee. Maybe a little nuttiness. Tastes similarly, decent flavor and balance, a little thin as the beer warmed. Smooth mild slightly thin mouthfeel and decent carbonation. Not too bad at all.

Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was obviously amber/red in color topped by a slim off white foamy head. Mild lace dotted my glass.
The aroma sprinkled in some nuts, roasty and toasty with clean caramel to toffee malts and some baked biscuits riding the backbone.
The flavor leaned into the malty sweetness of the prior mentioned aromas then lightly pledged a keen aftertaste of biscuits, nuts and caramel malts.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation for the style and a mild finish of nuts, toast and caramel.
Overall, hard to bust on since this is noticeably brewed to style and well made. I'd have again.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Nearly clear medium copper/amber pour with some fine sediment throughout. Thick fluffy off-white head... great lacing.
S: Toasted grains and mild caramel. Nutty/earthy and sweet.
T/F: Just like the nose... atypical amber with caramel sugars and toasted malts. Hopping for bitterness... also imparts an earthy flavor and some pine notes. Light bodied... well carbonated.
O: A solid amber ale. Easy drinking and decent flavor. A hard style to get excited about but a decent everyday kinda beer.
