I popped into this place today based on reviews I had read on beer advocate. The place is fairly large with most of the store consisting of food items. Near the back of the store I could see the beer section. As I approached the cooler area, I was greeted by a few racks of Quebec microbrews. There was numerous single bottles of 500-750ml size that were mostly in the 5-7$ range. Some of the bottle deposits seemed extreme (30-40cents for one 750ml bottle) both they did have a good selection. Closer to the beer cooler they had various 6 packs by most of Quebec's big microbreweries. In the cooler area they had some of the regular big name brands, prices seemed fair. Worth the trip of you're looking for Quebec beers

Not a beer selection in a community grocery store. Lot's of the usual suspects (LTM, Charlevoix, DDC) and others of questionable quality if I remember correctly. A fairly diverse selection of micros in sixes and singles with big bottles as well. Prices are better than Broue HAHA but the selection is about half. But when a certain beer is in the LCBO it is typically cheaper to buy it in Ontario. Deposits reach up to 40 cents at times for some reason. Didn't interact with staff except at cash and they seemed uninterested in me or my purchases, like proper retail employees.

If Broue HAHA is closed come here, otherwise I couldn't see a reason...unless you wanna stock up on a certain Quebec product for cheap.

Excellent Place for Unibrou as well as some other interesting Quebec Microbrew's. You can purchase Unibroue glasses there as well. Once in a while, they have amazing deals. 12-pack of Maudite/Fin Du Monde for 13.00$. Also, three mouskataires available there as well some others. They have a walk in beer fridge with local and canadian beer. I'd recommend going and just trying many of the Local and Montreal Microbrews. They have growers/cans/bottles ect.

Great place to check out for beer, especially Quebec Beers. My favorite place to purchase beer near the ottawa region.

A small and unassuming grocery store in a quaint section of Gatineau. Beer selection is large for the size of the store. Lots of Quebec micros including DDC, Maitre Brass, Trois Mousq, Brughel, Unibroue, et al. Decent prices, especially on Unibroue bombers, which were under $5.00, or were two for $8.99. I grabbed a DDC 12 pack for about $18.00. Service was friendly enough, our cashier spoke no English, so she went and got someone who did, and all was well. I'll be back for sure when I am in the area.

Basically a grocery convenience store, with several Quebec brewers well represented on the shlevesand coolers. A decent place, more than your regular supermarket, for beer. No service or local knowledge, but the cashier is fast. A few seasonals and bombers. Otherwise nothing special even for Quebec. Easy to find the beer, decent hours. Near Brasseurs du Temps (BDT). A quick trip to Gatinneau, although not the first stop for beer here either. Best for Unibroue selection and prices, there ws a 2/$9 special on.

Small grocery format with the usual sorts of things, but with an exceptional beer section for this sort of thing. Mostly Quebec micros on the shelf with a walk in fridge with mostly more mundane beers. Many of the micros are sold as larger format singles but there are also a smaller number of 341ml single bottles as well. Layout is deceptive as there each beer display is rather large (that is, many of the same bottle lined up).

Having said that the service was good, and the craft focus was also good. The owner (?) seemed very much into the craft beer scene. As always, I'm keen on lots and lots of small format singles and this is one area where this shop is a little bit lacking.

I should have called ahead. Made a trip out from Ottawa specifically for Dieu du Ciel beers, and found that they were out of stock of all but two. Some intriguing quebec beers, although very few available as singles. Definitely not a beer specialty store (or a specialty beer store), just a good grocer with some beer to match. It says something about Ontario and Quebec that there was probably more interesting beer here than in all of Ontario. Good prices compared to Ontario. Chatted with the guy in two languages.

Thanks to BeerFly, I searched out this store on my last beer run. It is easy to get to, conveniently located in a residential district a couple of blocks off Tache Blvd, the main drag between the Hull and Aylmer sectors of Gatineau. It is a convenience store with groceries, a meat counter, veggies, lottery tickets, post office, and lots of beer. The walk-in cooler at the back holds mostly big macro brands, but also has a selection of craft beers. Nice touch. The main booze display in the centre of the store has beer and wine, some beer glasses. The display is clean, dust free, and fun to pick over. Some of the high priced beers get a $2.00 return on the empties, something I did not know. The list of beers changes, so you will see variants from the stuff previous reviewers have given. Stay away from the Jalapeno beer. It is one of the few beers I never finished drinking.
This dep is now my favourite go-to place for Quebec beers.

A little dep in a French-speaking district of Gatineau, with a rather surprising impressive beer selection. Lots of the larger Quebec microbreweries as well as a few unusual imports (mostly from France) and some weird stuff I'd never seen before (Carotte du Lievre - carrot beer!!).

Refridgerated area in the back with larger packs of stuff. A large shelf of singles (bombers and 12oz) and six packs, and another smaller refridgerated section with mostly bombers. You can pretty much get every current Unibroue offering here, as well as Schoune, Cheval Blanc, etc.

The rest of the store is nothing to write home about, although the wine selection looked OK. Service is fine, but if you don't speak French, bring someone who does or practice your International hand signals!

This small corner store is located near the Université de Québec en Outaouais and the bridges between Ottawa and Gatineau. This corner store is pack with good selction of Quebec micro beers. You’ll find some of Québec best in here: Unibroue, Brasseur RJ, Brasserie Nouvelle-France and some imported product from Riva and Liefman. The price might be a bit inflated and the cashier has limited beer knowledge. There is also a good choice of glassware, limited edition beer (Unibroue) and some great St-Ambroise mustard!
