Presentation: 24oz scary-looking can...xxXxx...What's that about? Triple x plus two? Oi...
Appearance: Medium-dark golden beer, capped with a soapy dark ivory head which fades to nothing almost immediately
Smell: Cotton candy, mixed with apples, brandy, and children's tears...ugh
Taste: A bit of caramel malt actually, with TONS of sweet adjuncty blech and a bit of alcohol...fairly big alcohol burn...It's honestly not as bad as I thought, but still, epic sadness
Mouthfeel: Light/medium bodied.
Conclusion: Drinking this was the result of me losing a stupid bet...please not again...as one of my friends pointed out, "This tastes like the floor of a bar...well, what I'd assume the floor of a bar tastes like." Pretty accurate.

Appearance: Straw color golden tone with a large bubbled white head leaves thin spread lacing. Aroma: Smells of cooked veggies namingly corn and rice sugary sweetness some actual fruity notes in there as well possibly pear, kinda weird. Taste: Consists of sugary corn/rice adjuncts slightly syrupy with a pretty harsh mix of flavors alcohol evident at 9%, wow this stuff is not something one should drink on the regular. When a pour college student needs to get mildly lubricated on limited money supply, there's really no better time to sample cheap ass malt liquors. Mouthfeel: Somewhat syrupy light to medium bodied artificial carbonation. Drinkability: Not something I will be drinking regularly interesting experience.

Ultra pale yellow, very translucent, minimal animation, foamy bright white head, fair retention, a speck of lace. Strong fusel alcohol and sweet adjunct nose, not inviting at all. I reluctantly took a sip yuck, burning alcohol, raw, sweet adjunct riddled. There is something oddly empty about it, very hollow. It is very harsh on the back of the throat. The mouthfeel is very thin, minimal carbonation aids this phenomenon. My palate is too sophisticated for this evil Lager. This is only for idiotic people who seek to quickly get loaded cheaply. My advice for BAs: Skip it.
I could not finish half of the 24 oz. can; at a $1.19 it was way overpriced.

Camo Silver Ice is one cheap brew. with an abv of 10.6 per 12 oz. The taste is just pain awful. I got the whole 24 oz can down. I will not get this brew again. Even if it is cheap. Rot gut and death in a can. The color is a dark Amber/Yellow color. Smell of alcohol and cheap brew.

Poured from a clear 40 oz. bottle. Has a pale yellow color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, not as malty as I expected. Taste is yuck. Overpowering flavor of alcohol, really nothing else. Feels yucky in the mouth and drinkability is awful. Overall one of the worst beers I drank in recent memory.

considering the abv and the price (a 24 ouncer for a buck) i figured id give it a go.as far as appearance the cans all thugged out uhh idk looks like malt liquor, smells like an adjunct with a distinct smell of apples, tastes the same with a big kick of alcohol, actually pretty smooth and drinkable for the abv but times a factor here fellas once it started gettin to the bottom of the can and starts warmin up,like any malt liquor starts to be nausiating so either do what i do and pop it in the freezer beforehand or just gulp it down. overall a damn good malt liquor for the price i will definitly be buying this again

Bottled by "Camo Brewing Co, Lacrosse, WI" and inkjetted "0239". Hope this isn't years old, doubt it will matter that much though.
Clear glass 40 out of a random dingy cooler. Poured into a large mug, it forms a pretty good sized head and has some rings of lacing that coat the glass. Rapid rising carbonation in sparse streams, urine gold shade. Head lasts for the first couple sips, and eventually breaks apart.
Skunky aroma of the euro pils variety, something vaguely floral suggesting hops. Clear glass will do that… light sweet grain and some musty oxidized notes.
Harsh astringency, tacky and mealy aftertaste. Sticky sweet grain flavor, envelope glue, wet manila folders. Blehhh. Weak and unpleasant in the taste and mouthfeel departments. The astringency is the real dealbreaker here though. Turrible. Run far far away.
Drinking something this godawful really makes one appreciate the good stuff even more.

I know what you're thinking: "didn't you slam Black Ice??" Yes, I did. Since then though, I've heard from others who share my view of the lowly malt liquor as a category of brews who've remarked surprising things about Silver vs Black.
Curiosity got me. Hell, it's cheap, and I'm off work tomorrow.
Tall can to big mug. Got aggressive with the pour towards the end and still no head, yet it's very fizzy. A dirty yellow translucent. Smells quite alch-y, though not in a sweet way. Weird since it's now *stronger* than Black Ice, but whatever, maybe they finessed it somehow. A tiny bit of anonymous hop actually comes out. Drinkin' time...
Pilsner-yet-not-quite tones come through typical of cheap ass malt liquor. Just enough grain backbone to let me know it's there, and a bit of grape. Surprised the flavor, pleasantly so. Mouth on it oddly reminds me more of the Schlitz I tried than the other Camo, probably the fizz & weight.
Obviously it's not craft. But if you were expecting craft, there's no reason to even buy this. For what it is though...did Camo pull a Homer with this one? Why the hell do I... kinda *like* it?

Got from Scoobydank as an extra ugly in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly BIF - thanks? Poured from a 16oz can into a shaker pint. This one didn't deserve one of my good pints so shaker it is. Was a clear light yellow color with some carb. No lacing. It had a small fizzy white head that quickly dissipated into nothing.
The aroma was not good. Sweet malt with I swear an overtone of wine cooler. Very sweet. The taste was just as sweet and just as bad. Wasn't gonna drink all this one anyway but it would have been too sweet to drink it all.
Overall, a really terrible beer and I feel sorry for people who think this is good beer. You are entitled to drink what you want but when I think of what they are missing in good beer it's a shame. This gives real beer a bad name.

Served in a pint glass
A - It is gold in color and topped with an inch of white head that disappeared almost instantly.
S - I get the typical sweet grain and some toast.
T - I get sweet grains and alcohol.
M - Thin and slick
O - It tastes like most high gravity malt liquors, but the 9% raises the bar for those who are just drinking to get drunk.

Camo Silver Ice has an extremely thin, white head, a clear, golden, somewhat bubbly appearance, but the overall look is not so clean. The aroma is very offensive and is picked up right when the can is cracked open. It is a sickly-sweet, pungent, strong, odor of wet grain husk and rotted candy. The flavor is equally repellent, with grain husk, unusual sweetness, with strong and cheap alcohol. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy, with a dastardly chalky under-taste. Camo Silver Ice finishes semi-wet, boozy, and stomach turning. I poured it out.

Bought this as a joke. Ended up up not being as bad as I expected.
Appearance - Watery yellow and that's about it.
Smell - Like a traditional American Adjunct Lager with slightly more malts.
Taste - Watery, malty and very plain. Watery.
Mouthfeel / Drinkability - Extremeley drinkable but I don't really want to drink it all. It was ok. Not terrible for what it is; but still pretty poor.

It pours a golden color. There is a lot of carbonation to both the head and body. The head is white and watery. There is not much retention on the head but the lace is very spread out. The smell is piney and little tropical fruit like. Both the taste and the aroma are adjunct. Very malty and sweet a little corn like there is some pine like tones. There is no real aftertaste maybe a little bit of a liquor.

I have a secret love of bad beers. Someone has to taste it first right? Imported from a Wyoming truck stop.
So...I never expected this $1 can of booze to be a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster.
But I am Fair so lets pop the top and see what is in the can.
So like almost every malt liquors on earth it does a good job of looking like a Lager. Gold color with a decent white colored head that doesn't last.
Smell. Yeah...Denatured Alcohol and corn. There is a Fruity smell but no Identifiable Fruit. Every home brewer on earth knows the smell of beer fermented too hot.
Dare I taste it? After Superbrew 15 I am an Explorer in badness. It tastes better than expected. Flavor is Apple Juice, Everclear and Crackers. There is no Gag reflex or anything just the taste of your first failure at making a lager in a bad way. Still it isn't revolting. Dryer than most and intensely fruity. I can give this an honest 2.
Mouthfeel is OK.
Overall it is better than I feared. Still if you buy a can of this you know it will not be BCS.

Bought this 24 oz can for 75 cents on sale. Appearance i have to give average as there is nothing wrong with it. Corn oil golden with a small white head. Aroma mostly cooking apples for some reason..cooking apples and a bit of soap. Actually not as horrific as I expected. Taste again sour cooking apples with some rubbing alcohol. Palte thin yet sticky in an unpleasing way. Overall really not as bad as i expected. If you like cooking apples ( UK) you will tolerate this one. Way better than the awesomely bad Camo Genuine Ale.

I enjoy drinking 40s; however I did not enjoy this particular 40. The appearance is a medium-colored golden/yellow. The smell was not particularily good and after the first sip I could tell why. My god, I had to power through this 40. Usually the bad ones taste better by the end, but even with a decent buzz this 40 kept me on my toes. Tastes very sweet... think of granulated sugar mixed with a little wheat and some water... Thanks, but no thanks Camo, there are much better 40s out there.

You always know youre in for an adventure when the beer is available exclusively in 40 oz bottles. This is the cheapest 40 I have ever had at $1.79, but I will say that it is better than most other malt liquors in a 40 oz bottle. Skunky taste, horrible coloring, excess carbonation, the usual. Malt liquor is usually terrible, this is no different.

CANtastic! Another new beer in a CAN, albeit high gravity lager.
It began with a finger of bone-white head but experienced such low retention that it became wisps even before I finished pouring. Color was a lemon-yellow with NE-quality clarity. Nose was fusel, really bitingly so. Phew! Mouthfeel was medium with a hot alcohol burn on the tongue obscuring any flavor. A second swallow evinced a sweet-tartness, like a candy, but not a good one. Finish left me breathless, but not in a good way. Oof.

As it goes for the silver ice, original, and genuine ale the Camo Silver Ice would definately be the least vile. The fact that it is ice brewed and slightly more drinkable make it Camo of choice if it Camo is the only choice. It has a sub average appearance, slightly dark with a frothy head. Smell isn't anything special. The taste is that same old horrible sickly sweet taste only not as strong. The mouthfeel is kinda watery. The reduced taste, high alcohol, and ice brewyness increase drinkabilty. Alcohol hits you hard than the original, which is good because of the shitty taste. It is not like I am gonna come back to this unless I have to (maybe this weekend because I am paying off a speeding ticket) ,but for two bucks I was falling all over the place on the way to bed.

Cheap and strong, strong and cheap. I drank it straight from it's 24 oz. silver can. Smell skunky and corny. Taste is so offensive it was a chore to take a sip. About halfway through the second can I couldn't taste it, because of it's 9.0% ABV. Not a quality product, unless you are looking for a cheap buzz.

Clearly, the best malt liquor in existence. Appearance is that of a brew out of a fairy tale, golden flowing carbonated excellence.
Smell is what you would imagine smelling if you could smell the word perfection, only add in some malty awesomeness.
Drinking this beer is nothing short of orgasmic.. Goes down rythmic and silky, seamless, the nectar of the gods, Camo. If you haven't tried this liquid delicacy at this point in your life, I would do some SERIOUS reevaluation...

Got this in a 40oz bottle at a local gas station because I want to try all or most of the Camo offerings because I have no idea. Needless to say, this one sneaks up on you with its 10.6% abv. Halfway through, I started feeling the buzz, and by the time I was done, I was definitely in a happy place. This morning... not so much.
If you're looking for a cheap offering with a high abv and don't have serious plans the next day, go for it. It has the ability to surprise, being a dryer malt liquor than others, but it doesn't take long to realize you're practically drinking ethenol-flavored beer.
