The beer is a clear gold with carbonation and little head. The beer smells like hops and pine. Very fresh. The taste follows the nose. The beer is has a slight bitterness that lingers on the tongue but is still an easy drink.

Light color, white head. Aroma slight dank, no fruit/citrus. Taste on the sweet side for an IPA, bitterness is there but not with much else. Solid body.

On tap at Dale Brothers Brewery in Upland, CA.
Pours a murky orange with a foamy orange-tan head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest and herbal flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer with a fairly solid hop presence in the aroma and flavor.

As a hop head looking for IPAs in the 100+IBU catergory, I find this IPA very light and delicious . It pours a light amber color with a half-finger white head.
The aroma is piney and floral with some fruity notes as it warms
Taste is mildly hoppy, very smooth with medium body and mouthfeel. Mildly bitter finish
One of the most balanced IPA's I've had. Even though it is 6%, the careful balance gives it a session like character where most IPA's either ruin your palate or leave you too full to enjoy several pints. It could use a bit more hop aroma and a bitterness like their Double IPA, but this is great as is.

Bottled 1.16.13
Light amber, head not quite half a finger with a somewhat gentle pour. Light tan foam hangs around though. Second, more vigorous pour yielded tall, creamy head with good retention.
Nose has a pleasing, though not exuberant bouquet. The hop mix--summit, cascade, and galaxy--is good. Pine and tropicals come through; wet grass. Opens up with warmth--mint and more fruit.
Flavor is pleasantly hoppy, not very bitter--I could stand for a touch more while recognizing this is a standard 6% IPA. It has a smooth, medium body and finishes lightly sweet, so it could tolerate more bitterness.
Glad to have this local brewery in a very quiet territory, brewing-wise, starting to up its game and expand its offerings, along with moving into new digs. I look forward to visiting the new tasting room.

Bottle with date of 3/6/12
Pours a nice pale amber with a creamy head. Great lacing and about a 1/4 inch head remain throughout sipping.
Very balanced nose of fresh, grassy hops and a nice touch of caramel mats. Taste replicates the aroma quite nicely... May even say better! Very crisp with a bright citrusy quality.
Overall I'd say I'm pretty impressed. I'll admit I wasnt expecting much going into it, but Im pleasantly surprised! Definitely worth a try while these bottles are still fresh!
If you're a fan of at least a little bit of balance in an IPA, then this one is for you!
