Large head that almost overflowed a wide-mouthed glass. Lumpy recession. Good lacing with some thick streaks. Hazy, amber color.
Strong metallic nose initially. Mostly malt with a light Belgian yeast smell.
The Belgian yeast taste is strongest. Again, the malt is the main flavor. The body is oily but there's plenty of carbonation to cut it. The swallow brings the warming effects of the alcohol.

Poured from 12-ounce bottle into a stemmed glass goblet. Dark reddish-amber colored body, with a couple of fingers of white head that left a curtain of lacing as it settled. You want a beer that "tastes like beer"? This is it. Malty and slightly bitter, with notes of grain, grass, and herbal hops. Smooth and silky mouthfeel, good carbonation. Finish is quite dry and satisfying. The brewer's note says it all: "Full-bodied taste that's easy to drink, perfect with a variety of foods - and always with good friends nearby. Cheers!"

I had this on draft 4/11/23 @ the Hopleaf.
See-through ruby red appearance.
Huge khaki head; frothy lace.
Orange peel, rustic wheat & faint berry notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Mild flavors of caramel, orange peel, soft wheat & a hint of berry.
Enjoyable.

Amber with a 1" white head, which lasts. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is biscuit, cracker, grass, yeast.
Taste is bready, slight caramel, Belgian yeast.
Thin body, light carbonation. Semidry finish.
A nice, milder Belgian Ale.

Poured from bottle into a Belgian beer glass. Nice creamy, off white head, mostly translucent golden/orange color. Smell subtle clove, banana. Taste is banana but very much in the background. Some pleasant malt taste as it warms up. Some bread crust characteristics appear. Feel is a bit viscous for the ABV. This beer seems very one dimensional. Belgian yeast in the forefront. This beer is okay. I now understand the rating-

Point Brugge Café - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Medium, ivory head. Lovely, medium orange/amber look. Aromas of sweet malt, with a little clove/allspice character, with a tiny touch of butterscotch. Yummy, mixed and subtle cloves, mace and allspice flavors, with plenty off-dry, medium toast, caramelized malt, in there, which provides a good mouthfeel. Flavors all trail off very well into a fairly long finish.

11.2oz bottle into a 12oz tulip glass.
L: Pours perfectly amber clear burnished copper color w/a 1/2" eggshell white head, good retention, light carbonation, traces of sticky random lacing.
S: Light bread, malts, wild flowers, rather clean.
T: Lightly sweet, roasted malts, citrus zest, honey, toasted crusty sweetbread, a hint of raisins, yeast. Lightly floral, moderately full flavored, bitter finish.
F: Smooth, wet, medium bodied mouthfeel w/a zesty & lightly sharp mildly drying finish.
O: Very tasty & easy drinking. Clean & refreshing. It has a fairly large taste yet is delicate, elegant and refined. It is excellent in it's style.
