Going around the loop with beer made by Gluek is a "tour de force". You know, there are many, many mediocre beers made around the world. I have had beers made in Canada that compare very favorably with "All American Lager". I always had the impression that Canadian beers were good, eh!

Cold Spring Brewing makes this beer for, or maybe cans is a better description, the Westside Liquor chain here in Minnesota. At $10.00 a case investing a couple of extra bucks and buying Pabst is going to be a good investment, trust me.

Just finished reviewing the All American Light and now I move on to the fuller flavored All American Lager. The after taste of the Light is starting to kick in and Iam beginning to question whether this double dose of beer drinking patriotism is a good idea...but I forge onward.

Much like the light the full strength lager has impressive clarity....ZERO head though which is never a good thing. Smells pretty clean with just a hint of sweet cooked corn.

Definitely a much fuller, more rounded body to this compared to the light :)...I'm only half joking as this does have a slightly bigger body but everything is relative because this still seems watery...

The taste is inoffensive which is a good thing when drinking beers called "All American"...has a little cooked corn in the taste too but finishes watery and without a bad after taste.

I like this better than the light and again I probably could drink this. I am not sure what this is priced at but for the basic macro drinker who looks for cheap beers like Blatz, etc this would fit in nicely in that budget range. It certainly does not compare to the better macros but if you are shooting for a lower rung macro that does not offend this might work in a pinch.
