A fairly good Belgian tripel I bought in Amiens in the north of France.
A 330ml bottle at 8%, leaving as most tripel a big, foamy head and lasting a bit.
Tasty, drinkable and refreshing. It’s a winner in my book.

Interesting beer, first time when I tried a Trappist. Interesting taste and smell, flavor of honey not so present for me, whish it was stronger. Overall, a nice beer to try!

Bottle conditioned, most sediment left in the bottle by choice. (ps. at +10mins it's holding up well).
L- Pours medium+ amber, a trace of sediment haze, 1Cm white head.
S- Quite mild (same as with their Blonde), just that 'typical Belgian/monastic' profile in light form.
T- Bright towards piquant, meaty richness in the middle, that distinctive two-step rich versus sour sense, back and forth... and into a lovely zesty-bright vs meaty-rich into the finish.
F- Carbonation in the mouth is very good. It has a good balance to it (as^), bright vs meaty.
O- Very drinkable indeed. Zero to criticise. The 8% does a good job of being discrete, which IMHO = skilled brewing.

Had on tap. Really liked this tripel, with balanced notes of sweet fruits, vanilla, booze and malt, to pair with spicy black pepper, sharp yeast and slight hops. Feel is the difference maker, with malt and yeast creaminess and a spicy pepper crisp finish.

L: Pours a clear deep golden color with a medium high top of frosty white head that disolves rather quick. Sticky lacings on the sidesof the glass.
A: yeast,spices,honey, green apples,peaches and apricot.
T: Pleasant and complex taste. Starts of with a flavour of fruits with some malts inn the background, then inn the middle the spiciness takes over and then it finishes off with a bitterness off floral hops. A little weak inn the aftertaste.
M: Medium carbonated with a medium body. Mouthfel is creamy with prickly feel on the tongue.
O: All inn all is nothing outstanding with this triple, but it is good and enjoyable. A standard belgian triple.
