I had this beer at a small bar in Bruges, a local recommended it as one of her favorites. It poured beautifully with a thick gorgeous head. The lace stayed on the glass throughout the enjoyment of the beer. It had a very dry crisp flavor. I had been drinking more spiced, complex, and flavored Belgians recently and this was a nice return to a more simple cleaner taste.

Bottle at Las Buenas Pulgas served in a trappist glass. Golden color, medium head with short retention, average lacing. Aroma of cítrics, hops, yeast, apples, vanilla, spices. Medium body, rough texture, average carbonation. Dry finish. Taste of cítrics, herbs, grass, yeast, apple. Fairly good.

April 2014: Shared 330 ml bottle, probably from Voldby Købmandsgaard, at local tasting, as Buffalo Bitter Belgian Ale. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. Very nice aroma, hints of fruits, herbs, gewürztraminer, almond chocolates and almonds. Fresh and herbal flavour, very enjoyable. Not as sweet as I expected from a Belgian ale. Would certainly buy again.

Orange colored beer with lots of sediment and a slowly fading head. Taste is a mix of Belgian yeast and black pepper. Overall a decent beer but nothing that wows you.

8% ABV.
Poured into tulip.
Pours very fizzy and hazy light amber beer with rocky off-white head, low retention, some laces.
Smell - belgian yeasts, pepper, wood, citrus, corn flakes.
Taste - moderately fruity and yeasty, capped by strong hop finish, a bit astringent.
Medium to light body, soft carbonation.
Interesting bitter beer.

Golden with lots of yeast particles suspended within. Topped with 4 fingers of white head that fades fast.
Fruity, a hint of peach, a hint of black pepper, cayenne peppers, and Belgian yeasts. Pineapple and corn candies.
Belgian yeast up front, some pineapple, phenols, but I'm distracted by the watery mid palate. Very little bitterness on the end. Slightly peppery, slightly fruity but light overall.
Light body, medium carbonation. Really covers the alcohol and feels like a much lighter brew than it is.
Found in Vientiane, drank in Chiang Mai Sept 27th, 2015. Its strength is it covers its alcohol, but overall it tastes more like a Belgian Pale Ale, not like a Belgian IPA to me.
