Nils Oscar Pils....on tap at Glenfiddich Warehouse in Stockholm, Sweden.
Appearance-vibrant gold and a large off white head in a long pilsner glass, looks appetizing and carbonation takes a while to die down.
Smell-ok aroma strength, I detect some Saaz, light grain, alcohol, light breaded malt.
Taste/Mouthfeel-light to medium mouthfeel, hops come through backed by grain, a light whisper of malt and alcohol balances everything out. Flavors work together nicely, maybe doesn't explode as much as you'd like but the flavors work nicely.
Overall-nice pils, went well with my meal and I enjoyed it. Flavors work and holds it own against others of the style.

It is rather ordinary. A bit of cheesy aroma, OK mouthfeel and looks, with some fizzing body and some white head, some Saaz hop, but rather low on taste, faint hop. Not finishable.Rather below average. Thanks Phys21ca! I wanted to try this pils at some time.

Bottle: Poured a clear deep golden color lager with a medium pure white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of grain with some light crisp hops and light corn. Taste has some corn coming through with some lightly sweet malt and very faint hops. Well done but maybe lacking some hops and some corn comes across a bit too much.

A clear dark golden brew, a white head leaving good lacing.
Much malt in the smell, bread and grain. Some fruity sweetness, raisins.
The taste is as well dominated by the malts, bread loafer, porridge with honey, but ending in a good bitterness.
High carbonation, soft and smooth.
A nice well balanced pilsner, seems to contain good quantities of malt.

A light hay coloured, with a white head that isnt too big, but persistent.
A little weak smell, noble hops and a dry pilsner-ish sensation.
Tastes great with a dry bready maltiness, that carries distinct notes of noble hops through, yummy.
Dry and crisp mouthfeel, with just right carbonation.

The colour is clear yellow. The white airy head quickly sinks down to a nice lid, leaving lots of lacing.
The smell is gently malty with a characteristic Saaz-hops bitterness. Uncomplicated, fresh and inviting.
There are lots of clean and crisp bitter flavours in this one! It is balanced by a pleasant sweet malty taste. Described as a Czech pils by the brewery, I must admit that I expected more of yeasty-buttery notes than I found, it is more German to me. The long lasting aftertaste is dry and bitter with some mild notes of yeast and wheat flour.
The carbonation is strong with soft medium sized bubbles. The liquid is very fluent.
A fine Pils I would describe it as a bastard of a Chech Pils and a German Pils.
