Poors a rich, deep, golden amber. Little head. Despite this, head maintained just enough froth to cover the surface for an amazing length of time. Good wrap-around lacing. Froth color a deep ivory-straw.
Aroma is a very pleasing and penetrating hoppy flavor with a background hinting of honey-almond malt. Of my recent IPA kick, I'd say the aroma here is among the best so far.
Taste is a penetrating and rich hop-flavor. Not too bitter and hop does not linger quite long enough for my liking. But the background honey almond flavor -- revealed first in the beer's aroma --is enhanced with an added dash of pine. That flavor is presented as unusually dense and weighted for a background addition. An unusual and exciting sensation I'm not sure I can quite place in a comparable IPA.
Mouthfeel smooth but slightly light for a beer with such a weighted flavor. Drinkability excellent.
I know this as a good IPA for a crisp, clear, sunny autumn Saturday afternoon. A fine piece of work!

Had it and it was a bit over chilled. First sip is in your face Citra hops with an astringent aftertaste as one would expect with this much hops. Mouthfeel grew as I downed the hopped up elixir. Seemed a bit out of balance malt vs hops. A little more malt would balance this brew. Would order again.
