A: Poured bronze with a nice 1in. fluffy tan head. Sticky lacing and quite a bit of visible carbonation.
S: Very, sweet malts backed by a strong citrusy hops.
T: Like the smell, the first taste is initially malty and very sweet. The hops are there and very bitter, but they're not quite as upfront as I thought they would be. They kind of linger in the background and come out strongest in the aftertaste. Alcohol becomes more noticable as I drink it further.
M: Medium bodied, good amount of carbonation. Nothing too special, but good none the less.
D: This is not nearly as intense as some DIPA's I've had. It's a pretty decent brew. not the best I've had, but something I could see myself drinking again on occasion.

Had it and it was a bit over chilled. First sip is in your face Citra hops with an astringent aftertaste as one would expect with this much hops. Mouthfeel grew as I downed the hopped up elixir. Seemed a bit out of balance malt vs hops. A little more malt would balance this brew. Would order again.
