Poured into a pint glass.
A: Clear medium-amber color with a small ever-so-slightly-off-white head.
S: Big citrus and grassy aromas up front, with a slightly toasty tinge in the background. Almost fruity, like green apples.
T: Fairly sweet, with herbal and flowery hop tastes. Some faint caramel notes come through near the end. Pretty balanced for an IPA.
M: Medium body with adequate carbonation. The feel is very smooth and almost creamy. Finished clean.
D: Dangerously drinkable, assuming you can stand the bitterness.
This is probably one of the sweetest-tasting IPA's I've ever tried, and that's a pleasant change. That helps this beer stand out a bit from other IPA's. I would recommend it based on that fact alone, but this is an all-around sturdy beer that didn't disappoint. Worth at least a try, if not a sixer.
