Poured from a bottle into an imperial pint glass.
A - Nice deep amber color with a beautiful rocky head that has a bit of staying power. Nice spiderweb lacing litters the sides of the glass is it recedes.
S - Sweet tangerine and grapefruit hoppiness. Amarillo? Either way, it's a nice blend. A slight roasted graininess peaks through from time to time as well.
T - The sweet tangerines are the first thing that cross the palate, followed by a good bit of bittering hops before picking back up with a sweet malt kick toward the end of the swig. A little light in the hop department overall for the style, but still a nice, refreshing taste.
M - Medium with the right amount of carbonation. No complaints.
D - Excellent. There is nothing offensive or off-putting about this beer. Just straight forward and flavorful. I wish I could get it in California.
Many thanks to otello for the opportunity.
