Had this one from a trade a while back with maltygoodness.
Pours a copper color with a nice big head. The head maintains very well considering the higher hop levels and alcohol. Very active carbonation level. A nice looking beer. Smell gives a nice burst of piney hops. Smells like a winner. Taste follows suit, a nice blast of piney hops but it is quickly controlled by the malt sweetness. My problem with many double ipa's is that that sweetness becomes too much as you drink more of the beer but in this case the level is just right. Just enough of a warming finish to let you know that the alcohol is present. Overall a nice beer, i may have to go get myself some more of this. Would definately suggest you grab one of these.

Had it and it was a bit over chilled. First sip is in your face Citra hops with an astringent aftertaste as one would expect with this much hops. Mouthfeel grew as I downed the hopped up elixir. Seemed a bit out of balance malt vs hops. A little more malt would balance this brew. Would order again.
