Poured into a tulip. A light orange body that's hinting at going into the sunset golden range. A nice white head that leaves just SHEETS of lace down the glass.
The nose seems off, I always worry when i wash the glass before using it on this area. A lot of grape fruit, tangerine, maybe hints of lemon and a hint of pine at the finish. The malt is not distinct which is appreciated.
The taste just follows up with the nose. A lot of wonderful citrus notes and plenty of hops. I should say the bottle is notched January 2012, but I feel like this one has already seen better days. I feel like this one was intended to have more powerful hop flavors and they have just faded enough where I notice this.
At 7.25% I can taste the alcohol and the weight of this. I'm not sure if they call it such but this is a powerful imperial IPA on the mouth feel side.
Well priced and well done IPA/double IPA, but it misses the wold class levels.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.
Two finger head, clear golden color. Nose is citrusy (orange/grapefruit/pineapple) and hoppy - smells incredible.
Taste is similar to the smell, but the hops are more pronounced. Not overly carbonated. For a triple hopped IPA it isn't as aggressive in the hop flavors as it could be - not for drinking quickly, but definitely more drinkable than some similar beers. Could probably appeal to hopheads and those less enthusiastic about aggressive beers.
Overall a very good beer, one I'd like to keep around. Glad I picked it up on my way back from Baltimore.

On tap in a pint glass.
A- Golden-orange color, big off-white head, fluffy. ample amounts of all kinds of lacing. Bubbly.
S- Piney hop aroma, some citrus and malts.
T- It's malty paired with those piney hops and earthy floral flavor.
M- Big body, thick and resinous. Well carbonated. Long hope bite finish.
O- Big hop profile that is not overly bitter. Better tan I expected.
