Well done by Clipper City, this is a thoroughly enjoyable IPA. Hoppy aroma of pine and grapefruit not as powerful as it should be compared to the flavor. Great pour rich deep copper color, a swirl of the yeast on the bottom makes it denser. Huge puffy head and sticky sweet lacing, one of the best looking IPA's I've poured. Easy on the palate this is extremely drinkable and the finish is clean with an aftertaste that quickly fades. Well hopped flavor, medium malt presence that is well balanced for this style. Similar to the other great IPA's I've had, but this one is easier going down yet powerful with a well masked alcohol content. Very good drink.

Had it and it was a bit over chilled. First sip is in your face Citra hops with an astringent aftertaste as one would expect with this much hops. Mouthfeel grew as I downed the hopped up elixir. Seemed a bit out of balance malt vs hops. A little more malt would balance this brew. Would order again.
